DYCUSBURG, KY. Services for Willis Shewcraft, 75, Dycusburg, who died Saturday at 3:30 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, has been set for 1 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral home in Eddyville with the Rev. Robert Engler officiating and the Rev. R.H. Riley assisting. Burial will follow in Dycusburg Cemetery.

A member of Dycusburg Baptist Church, Mr. Shewcraft is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Shewcraft; two sons, Clayton Shewcraft of Roxanna, ILL., and Clifford Wayne Shewcraft of Gilbertsville; a brother, Ernest Shewcraft of Frances, Ky., and a sister, Ivy Doom of Cadiz, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Willis & Grace (1979) were preceded in death by two sons, William Perry Shewcraft 1923-1970 and PFC Herman Carter Shewcraft 1925-1945 age: 20, KIA April 29, 1945 in Austria.

Willis enjoyed playing checkers and participated in many Kentucky and Tennessee Tournaments, particularly the TN Open and Southern in Lebanon, TN.
